MEET THE TRAINERS

John Peters

My obsession for lifting weights began when I was 13 years old, when I was in line at a Quiznos. A man from my school was in front of me, and he was incredibly muscular. I decided that day that I wanted to look like that, and joined a gym later that week.

Over the last 20 years my passion for weightlifting has only grown that much stronger, and personal training seemed like an obvious career path. I also graduated from OSU Cascades with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, which helped steer me in the right direction. Along the way, I experienced many injuries, in pursuit to be the strongest I could be.

Getting injured was a necessary part of my growth as a trainer, as it lead me down the path of physical therapy, which became my next obsession. Today I meld a style of building muscle with injury prevention, which is my current niche. I absolutely love working with clients who have nagging injuries but are trying to build muscle and still enjoy the outdoors of Central Oregon.
